The Vice Chancellor Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria, Prof. Adebayo Simeon Bamire has commended the United Kingdom (UK) Chapter of Great Ife Alumni Association on the successful election and swearing in of a new Executive Committee. The Vice Chancellor used the opportunity of the Swearing-in Ceremony to appreciate the Engr. Wale Olaleye led Global Executive Committee for the continued growth and impact of the Association. A former Vice Chancellor and renowned Professor of Yoruba Language and Literature, Prof. Wande Abimbola also graced the hybrid Swearing-in Ceremony with insightful comments on the development of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and Great Ife Alumni Association (GIAA).
